Work with the page through an AI assistant
Use Inling Browser AI to discuss webpages, organize tabs and bookmarks, and attempt page tasks with a custom remote model. Capabilities depend on the model and site.
Ask about what you are reading
Inling places AI alongside browsing so you can ask questions about a page without repeatedly copying between apps. Try a focused prompt such as “Summarize the main argument and identify three claims I should check in the source.” Verify numbers, quotes and time-sensitive details against the original page.
Image input requires a model that supports it. Context length, output limits and tool use depend on the model and configuration; text chat alone does not prove a model can perform browser actions.
Organize browser content and attempt webpage tasks
Official release notes describe operations involving tabs, windows, bookmarks and history. Start with a small scope: find duplicate tabs, move selected tabs to another window or locate a page from a particular day. Start on your current device and check tool availability before expanding the task.
Page observation, clicks, input and navigation tools can support website searches and multistep tasks. Login requirements, CAPTCHAs, changing layouts, permissions and model errors can prevent completion. Review tool records and the actual page result before treating a task as done.
Generate and review userscripts
The “describe your extension” entry can generate a userscript, with preview, save, discard, history and continued editing. Check the script's matching sites and permissions before enabling it. See userscripts and extensions for platform limits.
Bring a remote model, or disable AI
Model configuration includes protocol, Base URL, API key, model list and capability settings; assistants can choose models separately. Provider charges and limits still apply. Configuration steps are currently in Chinese.
A custom remote endpoint processes the request with your chosen provider and does not pass through Inling's server. Cloud AI requests are outside the end-to-end encryption boundary used for sync. AI can be disabled under Settings → AI and scripts, preserving existing conversations and model settings while scripts and extensions remain available.
AI learning paths, a knowledge base, flashcards and FSRS review remain in development. Download the current browser beta.
